About ‘Expertise mapped’

With ‘Expertise mapped’ we visualise the organisation of care for rare diseases  from  the patients’  perspective. It generates an overview of where expertise for rare diseases can be found, how centres of expertise are organised  and  what the perceptions, needs and wishes of patients with rare diseases are.

The project runs in The Netherlands, but we hope to inspire other countries to include the patients’ perspective in the organisation of care for rare diseases. On this website you can read more about the project, the aim and the method to develop knowledge maps.
